By Road:- Coming from the east, the A38 starts at the bottom of the M5. Avoid the A30 as the A38, the "Devon Expressway", is more direct and less busy. Just over 8 miles off the A38 at Trerulefoot. Take the A374 for 1.2 miles then the A387 for 3.2 miles then B3253 in Looe. Your satnav may direct you to take the Barbican Road at St Martins, just outside of Looe - this is not advisable. This route is very very narrow in places and there are no real passing places. Detailed local directions can be found at the link below.
By Train:- Looe station is served by an hourly service (6am to 7pm) from Liskeard. A delightful 30 minute journey along the Looe River where at times you appear to be in it! Liskeard is served by First Great Western and is on the London Paddington to Penzance line.
By Plane:- Exeter International airport has scheduled flights from around the UK as well as Paris, Bergerac, Dusseldorf, Amsterdam and Geneva. The major car rental companies all operate from the airport. Looe is 69 miles (111km), approx. 90 minutes from the airport.
